Keanu Reeves makes his Broadway debut as Estragon in [*Waiting for Godot*](https://www.newyorktheatreguide.com/show/41928-waiting-for-godot-on-broadway) on Broadway in fall 2025.

Reeves's cinematic career encompasses over 100 movies. He is best known for starring in the title role of the *John Wick* film series and as Neo in *The Matrix* and its sequels. Other screen credits that cemented him as an action hero include *Point Break* and *Speed*.

Reeves had his breakthrough, however, as Bill in 1989's *Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure*. He reprised the role in two sequels. He and his co-star, Alex Winter, reunite in *Waiting for Godot*.

Alex Winter stars as Vladimir in [*Waiting for Godot*](https://www.newyorktheatreguide.com/show/41928-waiting-for-godot-on-broadway) on Broadway in fall 2025.

Winter has appeared in two Broadway shows: 1977's *The King & I* as Louis Leonowens and 1979's *Peter Pan* as John Darling. He is best known, however, for starring in the film *Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure* and its sequels. He starred as Ted opposite Keanu Reeves, his *Waiting for Godot* co-star, as Bill.

Winter is also a documentary director known for *The YouTube Effect, Zappa, Showbiz Kids*, and *The Panama Papers*.
